Mental Health First Aid for Adults
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches individuals how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older. Participants learn how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care, if necessary. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches individuals how to:

Mental Health First Aid for Youth
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches those who work with youth how to:
- Help adolescents experiencing mental health/addiction challenges
- Support adolescents in crisis
- Recognize common mental health challenges for youth
- Implement an action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.
Mental Health First Aid for Teens
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches individuals how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older. Mental Health First Aid for Teens teaches individuals how to:
- How to recognize signs and symptoms of a mental health crisis in a peer
- How to approach a peer in crisis
- Learn and implement an action plan to support peers facing a mental health challenge or crisis
- How to connect a peer to appropriate professional help
